Jillian Renner
Interior Designer

Jillian Renner (2)

In her early years, Jillian Renner’s knack for creativity and interest in hands-on, building projects made her the perfect candidate for interior design and remodeling work. Jillian attended George Fox University where she studied interior design, merchandising and business management. She is now a member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) where she continues her education and is working toward a certification with the NKBA.

Jillian began her career in 2001 as a self-employed interior designer, providing services such as space planning, color consultations, furniture and window treatment selection. In 2006, she continued her career in the field as a design consultant at Marti’s Interiors in Salem, Ore. and as a designer and project manager at Oregon Bath and Kitchen in Brooks, Ore.

Jillian joined Golden Rule Remodeling & Architecture in late 2006. As the interior designer for Golden Rule, her duties include working closely with clients, designing remodeling projects, identifying needed materials and creating custom three-dimensional designs of the client’s remodeling project — provided before you build.

With a formal education in Computer Aided Design, Jillian is able to create three-dimensional renderings, as well as to produce construction documents for the production crew in the field. This service helps establish a vision for the final product ahead of time, improving company and client communications.

“I do something different every day,” says Jillian. “I really like seeing what was once on paper come to life in our client’s home. My favorite part of the job is seeing our clients’ excitement as they enjoy watching their newly designed space evolve!”

In her time away from work, Jillian loves to travel, which gives her the opportunity to see new places and other approaches to design. Her exposure to different design ideas creates added inspiration when developing a functional, safe and aesthetically pleasing space for her clients.
